Men's Health

The Freemasons Foundation Centre for Men’s Health was established as a joint venture between The University of Adelaide and the Freemasons Foundation in 2007 with the vision to enable men to live longer, healthier, happier lives.

The Centre comprises a multidisciplinary team of world renowned experts collaborating across clinical services, research programs and continuing education to pursue its mission to:

  • Undertake innovative research programs
  • Significantly improve health services
  • Deliver evidence-based continuing education programs
  • Disseminate the latest health information and education resources

Currently, the Centre is actively engaged in research programs in the areas of male ageing, male obesity and diabetes, prostate cancer, male androgens / hormones, sexual and reproductive health, masculinities and sports.
