The Second Annual Presentation of the Corinthian Lodge Challenge Trophy  for Sailability GRYC took place at the Goolwa Regatta Yacht club on Saturday 24th June 2017.

The Corinthian Masonic Lodge -  together with the encouragement of the Freemasons Foundation in South Australia - offers support to Sailability at the Goolwa Regatta Yacht  Club.

Winner for the 2016-2017 Corinthian Lodge Challenge series was young Lawrence Byrne, seen in the photo with WBro. Dave Coshall, the Worshipful Master of Corinthian Lodge together with a representation of Members,   WBro. Kevin Holding,  Bro. Rob Groves and VWBro. Mal Hancock.

Laurence, who sails and controls the yacht, together with his father as safety assist, was the overall winner over the series of races held throughout the Season.

His disability does not stop his zest for living having just returned from a trip around Tasmania on a twin masted sailing vessel.  He was even winched to the crows nest atop the main mast during the trip.

Well done Lawrence.....You are an example of success to those more physically able.
