At the July 2017 meeting of Elizabeth Daytime Lodge No. 228 WBro. John Seal was presented with his 50 Year Jewel by VWBro. Gordon Andrews DGS.

WBro. Seal was initiated in Adelaide St. John Lodge No. 165 in February 1961; became Worshipful Master of that Lodge in 1973; and cleared in 1984. During this period, he was also a member of Kingston Lodge No. 61 (1963 to 1965), Loxton Lodge No.116 (1968-1976), Woodville Lodge No.125 (1990-2012). He was also admitted to Port Adelaide Mark Lodge No. 5 (1976-1986). He became a member of Elizabeth Daytime Lodge No. 228 on 1st July 2012 and is still a valued member of that Lodge.
At that meeting Thirty Five Year pins were presented to WBro. Lindsay Hart, Bro. Keith Fitzgerald, and Twenty Five Year Pins to Bro. Barry Wallis and WBro J. Hayman.
