Freemasons and Friends on the SteamRanger

8 Aug 2017 - 11:38am

(A few words from Jenny Michalak after the SteamRanger Trip)

On Sunday 6th August 2017, Stephen and I were fortunate to have the company of more than 130 Freemasons, their families and friends on the Southern Encounter, run by Steamranger, Mt. Barker and Victor Harbor. The train departed at 10:00 am and returned at 6:00 pm.

I am very grateful for the assistance that some very special friends gave me in preparing morning and afternoon tea - in particular,  Heather Merrill, Joy Neiss and Maureen Lorraine. Thankyou for this. Your contribution was valued by everyone on board.

We were also happy to have the company of two brothers from interstate - Bro. Eric Meacock (from Western Australia) and Bro. David Barnard-Emms (from Victoria).

What made the event special for Stephen and me, was the opportunity to spend a day with so many people whose focus was on enjoying each other's company and enjoying being members of Freemasonry.

Thankyou to everyone who came along and had a great time with us.
