Inaugural Twinning Ceremony between Kingston Lodge and Semaphore Lodge

Kingston Lodge No. 161 and Semaphore Lodge No. 33 conducted its inaugural Twinning Ceremony on Saturday 12th August 2017 at Kingston.

The Deputy Grand Master RWBro. Bill Merrill, with five other Present or Past Grand Lodge Officers, and  the Worshipful Master of Semaphore Lodge No. 33 with five of his Brethren were all in attendance from Adelaide

From this Twinning Ceremony, the Brethren of these Lodges, with the help of the Great Architect of the Universe, the guidance of the Grand Master, and Grand Officers, and their own endeavours, will support and maintain the aims and objects of Twinning and solemnly pledge themselves to visit each other’s Lodges wherever practical each year, for Fellowship, and the maintenance of the Bond of Friendship, instituted by this Ceremony.  Further they will assist each other’s Lodges in the conduct of their Craft Ceremonies, by providing Candidates and Officers where practical, for the mutual benefit of both Lodges.  

The Ceremony was followed by a Dinner for Brethren, Partners and Friends at The Old Woollstore in Kingston. and on the following morning there was a visit to Cape Jaffa Lighthouse and the Kingston Museum to complete the festivities around this Twinning Celebration.
