The meeting of Lodge St Alban No. 38 on 11th May 2017 was truly a Memorable Masonic Moment. Little more could have been added to a full night.

RWBro. Todd Cavender WM,   provided the Eulogy in remembrance of the Late Bro. The Hon. Justice Robin Millhouse QC.

Simultaneous ballots were conducted for four Candidates; there was a Double Initiation; a presentation of a 35 year pin to Bro.Tony Delo and presentation of a 50 year jewel to WBro. Bill Spear, OAM, PG STWD.

One of the strengths of Lodge St. Alban is the generational family involvement of grandfather/father/son/relationships which currently includes ten connections.

WBro. Glenn Spear, IPM, invited his brother David and son Jarred to accompany him in presenting his father with his 50 year jewel. Glenn said his father had a distinguished Masonic Career since his Initiation into Somerton Lodge on 28th April 1967 and subsequently became Master. Upon closure of that Lodge he joined Lodge St. Alban on the 11thSeptember 1997.  He has been the Lodge Auditor for some years and in his private life he leads a life of fine Masonic virtues of honour, justice and truth.

In thanking the WM for allowing Glenn to make the Presentation, WBro. Bill Spear said this occasion was a most proud moment in his life receiving his 50 year jewel on the night of the Initiation of his elder son and having the three generations take part in the formalities.
