Memorable Presence at Glenelg Lodge Installation

Thursday 10th November 2016 VWBro. Desmond Ronald Baker PDGS. was Installed for the third time as Worshipful Master of Glenelg Lodge No. 117. VWBro. Baker PDGS has always been a very active member - not only for Glenelg Lodge but Grand Lodge and Freemasonry in general.
There were seventy Brethren in attendance at the Ceremony which was followed by a most enjoyable Festive Board prepared by the ladies.
The night was made more memorable with the presence of the Worshipful Master's father, WBro. Ron Baker (pictured right) who turned 99 years old on 7th November 2016. WBro. Baker (senior) was Worshipful Master of Glenelg Lodge in the period - 1971-72 and Treasurer from 1973-1993.
Recognised for his services to Freemasonry with ther ranks of PGP in 1987 and PJGD in 1996, WBro. Baker (senior) received his 50 year Service Jewel in June 2015.
