Presentation of Second Bar to Fifty Year Veteran's Jewel at Duke of Edinburgh Lodge

On Tuesday 21st February 2017 some Members of the Duke of Edinburgh Lodge No. 16 met at the home of Bro. Lou Burnell to present him with a Second Bar to his 50 Year Jewel.
During discussion, Lou advised that he also has a 50 Year Jewel in Mark and Chapter.
Although not a regular attender, Lou shows an interest in what is happening with the Lodge in Moonta.
It was his preference to have the Bar presented at home and he welcomed the Members present by providing an enjoyable morning tea - prepared by himself. It was an opportunity to reminisce about earlier times in Freemasonry.
The current Worshipful Master of the Lodge, Graeme Spafford, (pictured here with Bro. Burnell) then had pleasure in making the presentation to Lou and to congratulate him on behalf of the Members of the Lodge.
