South Australia's History Festival 1st May to 31st May 2017
3 Apr 2017 - 2:06pm
In 2017, South Australia's History Festival will have something for everyone, with all kinds of events – tours, talks, walks, exhibitions, concerts and more – about all kinds of history.
On Saturday 13th and Sunday 14th May 2017 the Grand Lodge Building will open its doors to the public with guided tours of around 10 people per group, conducted each day at 10:00am and 2:00pm.
This presents a fantastic opportunity for the Freemasons to “show off” this wonderful building and also answer questions regarding the history of Freemasonry, but to do this we need a large pool of volunteers to act as guides over the weekend.
If any Brother is able to volunteer as a tour guide for this special event, please register your interest with the Grand Lodge office by phone 8223 1633 or by email danielle@santfreemasons.org.au
Responses with a preference to availability for either or both days would be appreciated by no later than Friday 28thApril 2017 so a roster can be arranged.
Training, palm cards regarding the building, and handouts will be provided to all volunteer guides.
