Communication to Grand Lodge Office

10 Oct 2018 - 10:45am

In recent months there has been a large volume of communications being made with the Grand Lodge Office, by way of email, letters, phone calls and other forms.

The vast majority of these communications could easily be resolved by reference to the Regulations and/or the Lodge Manual. One member is known to ring the Grand Lodge Office almost on a daily basis.

It is therefore apparent that a protocol must immediately be put in place. This is especially so when some of these communications have been of an offensive, bullying and/or harassing nature.

In future, such communications will be forwarded back to the member’s Lodge to be dealt with by the Lodge Executive.

If considered offensive, bullying or harassing, the communication will be referred by the Grand Secretary to the Grand Registrar.
