Lecture on Early History at Mid North Lodge No. 12

At the Meeting of the Mid North Lodge No 12 on Thursday 10th May, 2018, WBro. Grant Hovey DC, gave a lecture on the early history of some of the Mid North Lodges including St. Johns No. 17 at Auburn and St. James No. 23 at Saddleworth.
He then enlarged on the history of the Wooroora
Lodge No. 461, and displayed some very old Lodge Certificates and Documents which was of great interest.
Of special interest were letters from Brethren serving overseas.
It is hoped that this initiative will act as a forerunner to encourage similar history research to be undertaaken with other Lodges in the District.
