Lodge of Light makes Fifty Year Presentation at its Christmas 2017 meeting

At the Christmas meeting of the The Lodge of Light No. 11 held on Wednesday 13th December 2017 a Fifty Year Service Jewel was presented.
Thirty eight brethren and wives attended in the supper room where the Worshipful Master, WBro. David Stokes and his lovely wife Rhonda had decorated the room appropriate for Christmas and catered with an enjoyable chicken meal. After the meal Jeaninne Randall, wife of WBro. Geoff Randall provided delightful organ music for the enjoyment of all present.
WBro. Morphett was initiated into Brighton Grammarians Lodge No. 433 United Grand Lodge of Victoria on 13th September 1967. He later joined Bendigo City Lodge No. 714 and the Lockington Lodge which is near Echuca. In 2008 he and his wife Wendy moved to Kapunda where he and his son Bro. Andrew Morphett joined The Lodge of Light No. 11 and where he is an active and valued member.
