South Australia's History Festival 2018
7 May 2018 - 11:33am
On the weekend of Saturday 12th and Sunday 13th May 2018, Grand Lodge Building (Freemasons Hall) will open its doors to the public and run guided tours of around 10 -20 people per group each day at 10:00am and 2:00pm as part of The History Festival which - one of South Australia’s largest community events which began in 2004 as SA History Week and has grown each year.
This presents a fantastic opportunity for the Freemasons to “show off” this wonderful building and also answer questions regarding the history of Freemasonry, but to do this we need a large pool of volunteers to act as guides over the weekend.
If any Brother is able to volunteer as a tour guide for this special event, please register your interest with the Grand Lodge office by phone 8223 1633 or by email danielle@santfreemasons.org.au.
Responses with a preference to availability for either or both days would be appreciated by no later than Friday 27th April 2017 so a roster can be arranged.
Training, palm cards regarding the building, and handouts can be provided to all volunteer guides who require it.
