WBro. Barry Newman honoured with First Bar to 50 Year Jewel in Mark Masonry

WBro. Barry Newman was Advanced into Mark Masonry on 4th June 1963. In July 2013, he was presented with his 50 Year Jewel by Brethren of Salisbury Mark Lodge No. 52 who made the journey to the Riverland to make the presentation. He was attending the Installation of Renmark Lodge No. 55 (Craft) at the time.

On Thursday, 12th July 2018, three Brethren of Salisbury Mark Lodge No. 52 travelled to the Riverland to attend the Installation of a new Worshipful Master of the Renmark Lodge No. 55 with another purpose in mind. That was to present WBro. Newman with his First Five Year Bar to his 50 Year Jewel.
Following the Installation Ceremony, but before retiring from the Lodge, RWBro. Andrew Charlton as the Senior Grand Mark Officer in attendance, agreed to present WBro. Newman with his First Bar to his 50 Year Jewel.
WBro. Newman was surprised with the Presentation and thanked the Brethren for the honour.
